"We support the musical training of people with visual disabilities"
About us
We are three musicians, teachers, and passionate advocates for inclusion who have joined our paths to support those who face barriers in their musical journey.
Musicabraillelatam was born from the meeting of our professional and personal experiences, and from a common certainty: every person has the right to study music, regardless of their visual condition.
We support blind or visually impaired people at every stage of their training: from access to adapted materials to preparation for entering or taking exams at conservatories, the Blind Symphonic Band or the Blind Polyphonic Choir.
We know from experience that the journey can be fraught with obstacles: a lack of accessible sheet music, a lack of awareness from institutions, or even the feeling of facing the impossible alone. That's why we're here. Because no one should have to give up on music due to a lack of resources or support.
We also work with music teachers who have blind or visually impaired students and don't know where to begin. We provide them with concrete tools, adapted materials, and personalized guidance so they can teach with confidence, empathy, and effectiveness.
Our services include:
- Transcription of musical scores from ink to braille and vice versa
- Pedagogical advice to teachers and institutions
- Preparation for entrance exams to groups such as the National Symphonic Band for the Blind or the Polyphonic Choir for the Blind
- Courses, talks and training on braille music notation and its implementation
- Private lessons in instruments and Braille music
Our team combines experience in the classroom, the music scene, and daily work with blind and visually impaired students. Empathy, commitment, and technical expertise allow us to provide support with sensitivity and professional rigor.
Because we know that music transforms lives, and we want that power to reach everyone.
